A section of MPs allied to Ruto, led by Oscar Sudi (Kapsaret) and Didmas Barasa (Kimilili), accused President Uhuru Kenyatta on Sunday for what they termed as insincerity in the fight against graft which they insist is targeting Ruto.

And Mr Ngunjiri, a fierce defender of Uhuru, insists that the Head of State will not succumb to 'threats' by the legislators, adding that he will perform his duties without intimidation.

"There are people out there who think they can scare and intimidate President Uhuru Kenyatta, or his officers (Kinoti, Haji, etc). In coming days they will learn that this President ‘does not buy fear," wrote Wambugu, who had posted Sudi and Barasa's videos on his Facebook page.

President Uhuru Kenyatta on Thursday at Murang'a, vowed to ensure big arrests are made in the fight against graft, which he said will continue despite the political storm in the country.

But Sudi, a close ally of DP Ruto, insisted that graft war was being used by powerful people to block Dr Ruto from ascending to power in 2022 polls.

"I want to tell DCI Kinoti that he's not fighting graft. He's being used to destroy careers of people and will not allow that. He is being misused by some people but that motive will not succeed," he said.
