Kibra Member of Parliament (MP) Ken Okoth has praised his wife Monica for remaining loyal as he bravely continues to fight cancer.
According to Fred Gori, one of the MP’s close friends, the legislator told them to take care of their wives as they are a strong pillar during tough times.
"Guys, take care of your wives. You may have a lot of money for treatment but nothing equals a woman who stands by you in your moment of illness,” Ken Okoth said as quoted by Fred Gori.
Okoth reportedly made the remarks when he met Gori and his other friends during a get together of the class of 1995.
“Class of 1995 meeting at some dark location. We are here with Ken Okoth who just returned from Paris after months of treatment. What a special privilege to share a table with him and to see him looking strong and joyful. God is in control,” he said.
The second-term MP returned in the country recently after receiving treatment in Paris, France for several weeks.
Kenyans from all walks of life especially on social media have continued to wish him a successful path to full recovery.
