As Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria continues to traverse the wider Mt Kenya region calling for GEMA unity ahead of 2022 General elections or risk losing both the 'bread and the bakery', a section of his constituents went on a rampage on Monday over a poor road in the area.
The irate residents of Wamwangi Sub-location in Ngenda ward planted banana pseudo-stems along the 'impassable' road apparently to pass a strong message to the vocal MP that the road had turned to a 'shamba'.
Ironically, the said road is in Kuria's home area as some hawk-eyed social media users pointed out.
"Actually the place you see that shop is the entrance to Kuria's home...its a shame. The only thing he could do is initiate a lighting project up to his mother's gate...selfish leader," one Facebook user, Mwaura Njoroge wrote.
There are those who could not fathom how the MP could afford 'to make a lot of noise' at the national front while he cannot to address a 'small matter' affecting his fellow villagers.
Others would tell him to first put his 'small house' in order before he can even dream of succeeding President Uhuru Kenyatta who also hails from the same county ward, as head of state come 2022.
Here are more reactions to the aforementioned Facebook post showing the 'poor state' of the said road.
