Dar es Salaam Regional Commissioner (RC) Paul Makonda who recently blamed Bongo star Diamond Platnumz for promising to marry several women but then fails to keep his word, has once again suggested new rules concerning promises in dating and relationships.
RC Makonda is the process of digitizing all relationships in his region, a move he thinks will reduce heartbreaks and street children.
He has given hopes to men investing their money in women's education with a desire to marry them after completing school.
Speaking from his office in a video shared on Instagram on Thursday, Makonda said that he is looking for ICT specialized who will capture all details of a dating couple to monitor their progress.
If his move comes to pass, then some Kenyans married in Tanzania, dating lovers from Tanzania, including Tanasha Donna whose lover Diamond Platnumz is based in Dar es Salaam, will have to register in the said system.
"Like I had said, collecting complaints is still going on. Very soon we will launch a system where a citizen can air out their issues from their homes. We are looking for IT specialists to digitize all our marriages in Dar el Salaam. (Ndugu zangu Wananchi kama nilivyo sema swala la ukusanyaji wa malalamiko linaenda vizuri. Karibuni tutazindua mfumo wetu mzuri wa Wananchi kutoa taarifa akiwa nymbani kwake pale. Tunatafuta watalaamu wa computa watusadie kusajili ndoa zetu katika mkoa wa Dar el Salaam)," said RC Makonda.
He argued that women love with all their hearts thus a need to protect them from men with wrong intentions.
RC Makonda then said men educating their women with hopes of marrying them will be legally protected, and if need be, they will be compensated back.
Makonda recently blamed Diamond Platnumz for now keeping the promises he has been making for several women. He said that it possible for the women to gang up against the singer and sue him for failing the promises.
