Residents of Uasin Gishu county have lauded the latest move by governor Jackson Mandago ahead of his 2022 retirement.
In a post on his official Facebook page on Tuesday, Mandago pledged to ensure he completes all the projects he began in 2013 when he was elected the governor.
He posted; "I will ensure that I complete all projects that are running before my second term lapses. It is my goal to close my development agenda for the next governor to lay their own as we drive the County Government of Uasin Gishu transformational agenda. My solid strategy and approach are to finish all the projects before we go for elections in 2022."
The pledge has since been received positively by a majority of locals who commented on the post.
