Huruma Member of County Assembly Peter Chomba has revealed what they discussed with the Deputy President William Ruto.
Chomba and his counterpart from Langas, Francis Muya, had a private meeting with Ruto at his rural home in Sugoi on Saturday.
"We spoke of development in the county and those that are being done by the National government which are geared towards making our county and country at large better.
We also talked on the need to unite all the communities as leaders regardless of their political or tribal affiliations since Kenya is for all of us and we don't have a spare country," said Chomba after meeting the DP.
He noted that the DP called on politicians to unite Kenyans and avoid dividing them through spreading hate messages against tribes.
Chomba further said the DP noted that it is time to serve the electorates and politicians should shun from the 2022 succession politics as they will cross the bridge when the right time comes and that the future of this country depends on all Kenyans.
He further pointed out what the Jubilee administration has done and called on the two leaders to support his presidential bid when the right time comes.
