It was a tense and emotional ceremony as friends and family members came to say goodbye to the late who was described as a joyful woman.

Her two sons left mourners in tears as they eulogized Wambui as the best mum ever.

"It is very hard to understand why my mum was taken from us. She was the strongest God-fearing woman I ever knew, who only depended on God in everything she did,” her elder son started his tribute.

In tears, the young man described his mother as a prayerful woman who taught him that all starts and ends with God.

“She was a very prayerful woman and always told me to depend on God and be prayerful like her. She always gave me quotes which were very useful to my life and I promised to undertake them. Whenever I was down, she used to bring me up, whenever I was sad, she made me happy. She was not only my mother but also my best friend. She raised me like a mother and I am so glad that God gave me such a mother, who would care for her children like the way she raised us," he said.

Here is the other part of the touching tribute:

"She always told me to work hard in my studies so as to be able to take care of my own family and never to depend on anyone but God. I will always treasure that. The last day I saw her was the day we were going to school. While on the way, she told me some things; that if anything happens to her or Dad, I should take care of my brother and give him all the love that he needs and always be there for him; and as I go to school, I remember him, and them and also my future family. She told me to be God’s friend and always have faith in Him. She told me to look at all the battles I have fought and failed but eventually overcame, and all the success God has given me, and always thank Him for that. She always taught me to be a helpful person to others and to always help those that are in need. All I want to say is thank you for being my mother. I know I will never get another one like you, and I truly thank God for you."
