United States Agency for International Development  Mission director to Kenya Mark Meassick and mission lawyer Kelly Mark on Thursday toured Kisii County to review the ongoing developmental partnerships in the county.

Speaking to the Media at county headquarters, Kisii Governor James Ongwae said the team will tour various projects in the county as they seek continued and new partnership towards improving the livelihoods of the youth, women and the less privileged in the society

Ongwae who is serving his last term in office said his government will be engaging the officers especially in the areas of agriculture, water, health and enterprise development.

"Our working relationship with the USAID stems from an appeal I personally registered with them and today's honour of my invitation has provided an opportunity to share with the mission Director possible areas of engagements especially in the areas of agriculture, water, health and enterprise development," he added.

He also lauded USAID for the support they have accorded the national government
