Duale, however, suffered the wrath of Kenyans on social media following his post on ODM’s latest move after losing in Ugenya and Embakasi South.

The National Assembly Majority Leader on his twitter account said ODM conceded defeat early in Wajir due to the hustler’s influence.

“It’s a free fall for ODM Party. They lost in Ugenya and Embakasi South. Now they have conceded early defeat in Wajir West. The Hustler influence is real,” tweeted Duale.

The post did not go down well with a cross-section of Kenyans on social media who launched a scathing attack against him.

A number of Kenyans online claimed that the leaders calling themselves ‘hustlers’ are the ones stealing public funds for their personal interest.

Others said now that ODM has left the by-election, the campaigns will be boring because Duale was among leaders who wanted to campaign against ODM.
