1. Allergic reactions
Itching after taking a shower could be as a result of reactions between the skin and the soaps used or the skincare products applied. Avoid scented products as well as those which contain alcohol. Products containing natural ingredients are the best. In addition, ensure you carefully rinse yourself as soap residues can also lead to itching.
2. Eczema
This refers to skin inflammation as a result of reduced skin natural oils. After bathing, eczema becomes quite dry, itchy and uncomfortable resulting in the formation of red rashes on your skin.
3. Dry skin
Most people who use hot shower are prone to this problem because it removes the skin's natural oils that keep it soft and supple making it dry and itchy. This causes irritation. It is advisable to use a moisturizer immediately after taking the shower.
