George Aladwa, who has been very vocal on matters politics, including the ongoing constitutional amendment push, says that being an experienced leader, he deserves attention.

Speaking on Saturday, the MP listed himself among the longest-serving leaders in Nairobi, arguing that for that reason, his opinions and political predictions should be taken seriously.

The former defunct Nairobi county council Mayor stated that he has taken 8 oaths of office, which ranks him third after ODM leader Raila Odinga (9) and nominated MP Maina Kamanda (13).

"I have taken 8 office oaths, I am third after Kamanda and Raila. So, I am not mad and when I say something I should be heard. (Mimi nimeapishwa mara nane, mimi ni wa tatu nikifuata Kamanda na Raila, kwa hivyo mimi si mwendawazimu, nikisema kitu nisikilizwe)," he said on Radio Jambo.

George Aladwa also is a staunch supporter of Raila, and one of the city leaders who helped deliver the Kibra seat to the party in last year's mini polls.

He also doubles up as the ODM Chair for Nairobi county and a strong defender of the former Prime Minister.
