Kibra parliamentary hopeful on the Amani National Congress (ANC) ticket Eliud Owalo has revealed the force behind his campaigns ahead of the much awaited mini poll.
Speaking on Tuesday, the former Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) member said his team has brought on board thousands of volunteers, to help traverse the constituency.
Owalo noted that his campaign team has remained respectful in its pursuit for votes, adding that he is ready to offer leadership if voted for by the Kibra people.
Regarding his campaign strategy, Owalo said the volunteers are traversing the constituency going door to door selling his ideas to locals.
"We are on! Our campaign in Kibra remains respectful and issues-based; and has brought on board thousands of volunteers who knock doors and make our case to their neighbours, friends, families and business partners. New vision. Ready leadership," he said.
Owalo will face off with; ODM candidate Imran Okoth, Jubilee's McDonald Mariga, Ford Kenya's Khamisi Butichi among others.
Owalo, previously a close ally of ODM leader Raila Odinga, has not been in good terms with the former Premier after losing in the ODM Kibra nominations during the 2017 polls.
