Khalwale who contested for the Kakamega senatorial seat on a Ford Kenya party ticket during the August 8 general poll at the same time told his party leader and Bunguoma Senator Moses Wetangula and ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi to quit the coalition before the 2022 polls."Unless a man is prepared to lose sight of the shore he cannot set sail. The co-principal who abandons NASA will be the first serious challenger of DP Ruto for the presidency," said Khalwale in a tweet on Wednesday."Raila Odinga will be on the 2022 ballot paper. Moses Wetangula and Musalia Mudavadi, am now reminding you publicly," he added. There has been debate over whether Raila will be on the ballot in 2022.Following Raila's meeting with President Uhuru Kenyatta at Harambee House on March 9, there have been claims that one of the issues the two leaders spoke about was the possibility of amending the Constitution to allow Raila vie for the presidency in 2022.This amendment will entail reviewing the presidential age limit to allow Raila contest for the presidential poll.
