Tottenham Hotspur defensive midfielder and Kenya captain Victor Wanyama won't be available for AFCON qualifier match against Sierra Leone due to knee injury.
Tottenham have reported that Wanyama sustained a left knee injury during an English Football League (Carabao cup) match against West Ham United, on Wednesday, 31st, October.
"Victor Wanyama is unavailable this weekend following an injury sustained to his left knee in the game against West Ham on Wednesday," read a statement from Tottenham.
It's not known for how long the player won't be available after missing the weekend match against Wolves.
Wanyama suffered another injury in a match against Barcelona during Spurs' pre-season tour in the USA.
He was also sidelined for four months after picking the first knee injury against Chelsea in the early 2017-2018 season.
It's barely a month since Victor's 26th, September return from the injury; as a substitute during the Carabao cup tie between Tottenham Hotspurs and Watford.
