Bongo star Ali Kiba on Thursday responded to dating claims raised by socialite Bridget Achieng.
The socialite on Monday while on Radio Jambo, said she made Ali Kiba cross the border to Kenya in search of her love after she had the singer's name 'King Kiba' tattoo on her left hand.
“I put this tattoo of him akanitafuta (Kiba looked for me), the way he used to wine his waist made me love struck. I am not a stalker I am a go getter that is why I tattooed myself with his name. He looked for me and the rest is history. We talked for six months and our relationship lasted for a year,” Achieng had noted.
However, Ali Kiba in a video shared on Instagram by Bongo Five TV, gave scanty information about Achieng's dating claims.
He admitted she had seen the socialite's tattoo but did not reveal whether they ended up dating or not.
"I received like I would have done with may other fans, there are so many of them who have my tattoo, and I saw her tattoo long ago. (Mimi nalipokea kama fan na sio yeye pekeake kuna wengi tu walichora na nishaonaga zamani sana ile tattoo yeah)," Kiba responded.
The socialite, a mother of one, had revealed that they had to part ways with Ali Kiba after their little compatibility.
“I think we were just on different paths. I cannot undermine him. He was somehow slow in his moves, but with me am that person who likes doing things in a hurry, so I realised I could not make it to be with him. (He had uswahili and ustarabu mi na haraka zangu, nikaona sitaweza). It was a good relationship and we are still friends," Bridget Achieng noted in the interview.
