President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM Party leader Raila Odinga once again met in Kisumu on Saturday.

The two were in Kisumu to attend the burial ceremony of former Youth Enterprise Fund Board Chairman Bruce Odhiambo in his rural home in Koru, Muhoroni Sub County.

The two were accompanied by Kisumu County Deputy governor Mathews Owili.

“He was always destined to go places and places he did go. Breaking barriers that many of us fellow youth from the slums of the poor Jericho only dream of. Bruce has left a legacy that requires us to finish. Fare Thee Well Bruce Dominic Odhiambo Were” said the Deputy Governor.

Bruce Odhiambo who schooled with the President at Nairobi’s St Mary’s High School died early this month after a long battle with illness.

The two leaders meet nearly a month after they were in Kisumu to launch the Universal Health Care  Programme.

Raila who arrived in Kisumu yesterday led among others Kisumu county officials in initiating the removal of water hyacinth from  Lake Victoria as part of a larger initiative to revive the port.

The AU special envoy for infrastructural development was also to lead Kenyans in commemorating the death of his father, the first vice president of Kenya Jaramogi Oginga Odinga.
