Orange Democratize Movement leader Raila Odinga has sent a message to Muslims as they celebrate Eid Ul Adha.
In a Facebook post on Saturday evening, the African Union Representative argued Muslims to remain strong in their faith.
"On this Eid Ul Adha I would like to wish our Muslim Brothers and Sisters Eid Mubarak. May you all be blessed and become stronger in your faith whose hallmark is respect and tolerance for all," said Raila.
Muslims across the world are celebrating Hajj an event that will take place in Mecca, Saudi Arabia.
Millions are attending to this special event in the life of any Muslim.
The annual Hajj pilgrimage helps Muslims to repent their sins and strengthen their faith in God.
It is believed that Hajj started with Ibrahim when God tested his faith. God asked him to sacrifice his son. Ibrahim, who had total faith in God was about to sacrifice Ishmael but God gave him a goat.
Over 2 million Muslim gathered at Mount Arafat to atone their sins, and seek God's forgiveness.
They clad in white robes to indicate their state of purity.
More than 5, 000 Muslims travelled from Kenya to Mecca to celebrate Hajj.
On Friday, the government declared Monday a public holiday to mark the Hajj celebrations by Muslims.
