The boy, Davis Saoli's video went viral on social media after a user shared it tagging along Royal Media Services Director of Strategy and Innovation, Linus Kaikai.

Citizen TV has offered the boy an opportunity to interact with his favourite presenters and reporters at the station any time he wants.

Editorial Director Joe Ageyo in an interview with Kenyans.co.ke said the station will mentor the young talent.

"We are really interested in him and so eager to see what he can do. We are just mentoring him for now and he is allowed to visit the station and interact with the anchors," stated Ageyo as quoted by Kenyans.co.ke.

While many Kenyans on social media showered the boy with praises, with some saying he should be given reporting duties at any media house in the country, Ageyo said Citizen TV currently cannot offer him a job yet because he is still a high school student.

"We want him to finish his studies first and decide if he wants to pursue journalism as a career," he noted.

In the video, Saoli was reporting on the ongoing evictions in the Mau Forest, and his Swahili version was standard and impressive.
