Popular Kenyan gospel musician Bahati on Saturday took to his Instagram page to apologize on behalf of NTV, while at the same time explaining why his reality show was not aired as expected.

According to Bahati, there was no adequate time for the show to air due to the ongoing nationwide census activity. 

He was, however, quick to add that the much awaited episode would be aired next Saturday.

Bahati, who is also the founder of Eastlands Most Beloved (EMB) record label, urged Kenyans to avail themselves and take part in census.

"APOLOGIES. We Know Tonight's Episode of @Bahatirealityshow Was One of the most Waited But We Would Like to Do our Apologies On Behalf of NTV Kenya as We Will not have Have Enough Time on Air Due to #CENSUS, but a Promise is that It will be Aired Next Week Same Time. Apologies from @EMB_ENTERTAINMENT & NTV KENYA. Let's All be home Early and Get Counted❗#KenyaCensus2019," Bahati wrote on his Instagram page.

This week's episode was to highlight Bahati's wife Diana Marua's journey in delivering their new born baby Majesty Bahati who is now one-week old. 

This was expected to be the peak, as the couple have been sharing their journey on pregnancy through the reality show.
