On Thursday, Raila landed at Mombasa directly from Windhok, Namibia where he had gone for official assignment from the African Union.

A source says Mr Odinga will meet Raila in Mombasa for a closed-door meeting but denied to give further information on the possible agenda of the meeting.

"Mzee left for Mombasa Thursday, he is scheduled to meet the President for consultations,” said Mr Odinga’s aide who sought anonymity because the meeting is private. https://www.nation.co.ke/news/CSs-to-resume-work-amid-anxiety-over-Cabinet-reshuffle/1056-4921916-9upqssz/index.html

It is widely romoured that the two will have a candid discussion on cabinet reshuffle, which was first speculated in July last year when the duo met at Mombasa again.

The two leaders will on Monday be joined by Deputy President William Ruto for the commissioning of Sh1 billion Mama Ngina Drive regeneration where Raila will again appear in his capacity as head of infrastructural development in AU.

ODM Director of Communication Philip Etale has dismissed claims that Raila will have a say in reorganisation of government by President Uhuru Kenyatta.

"THE BITTER TRUTHStories spreading on social media about cabinet reshuffle blah blah blah and the so called meeting between H.E. Pres. Uhuru Kenyatta and H.E. Hon. Raila Odinga ahead of the purported reshuffle are false." https://twitter.com/EtalePhilip/status/1081150852373585922?s=19
