Machakos county governor Dr Alfred Mutua has said that some Kenyan politicians' minds and thinking need scientific research to save the country.
In a post on his Facebook page on Friday, Mutua expressed his concern over some behaviours of Kenyan politicians who instead of finding solution to problems the country is facing, they are busy politicicking.
"As a scholar,a politician and a national leader I call upon scientific research by our universities on the mind and behaviours of some of our political leaders," he said.
"It is quit flabbergasting that instead of sitting down and finding solutions and engaging in development activities to spur the economy and create jobs,Some politicians are engaged in trips around the country on sycophantic and polarizing agenda that is not solving current problems facing the youth," added Mutua.
According to the governor, Kenya is a great country but it's currently facing hardtimes among others, high cost of living, corruption and unemployment.
He also emphasized that for these challenges to end, there has to be concerted efforts by all leaders to assist President Uhuru Kenyatta's programs to elevate poverty
"Others (politicians) are busy insluting each other and organizing goons to terrorize wananchi for thier political gains," Mutua said.
He urged politicians to direct their energies into uniting the country and growing the economy.
