After a requiem mass of Jane Kiano on Friday, the three leaders reunited for the second time in as many days for a brief meeting that later for one hour, the Daily Nation reports.

In the company of his press man Dennis Onyango and business mogul Jimmy Wanjigi, Raila drove in 20 minutes after the arrival of Uhuru.

“The thing is that the church is in the vicinity of the DP’s residence in Karen. The DP had invited the President. I don’t think the DP was expecting to see Mr Odinga,” said Mr Junet Mohamed, the Minority Whip in the National Assembly.

It was the first time Raila was visiting the Karen official residence for the Deputy President amid vicious debate about his latest blossoming relationship with Uhuru and strained working relationship with Ruto.

But Senate Majority Leader Kipchumba Murkomen, who was also present at the meeting, insists that the two were invited by their host.

“The DP just wanted to extend an olive branch and the spirit of working together with Mr Odinga in the wake of the handshake. That was all.” https://mobile.nation.co.ke/news/politics/William-Ruto-hosts-Uhuru--Raila-for-political-lunch/3126390-4834598-item-1-cib8glz/index.html.

Details about the one hour meeting hower remains scanty but Murkomen says that it was arranged for Raila to read from the same script with Ruto.

Lately, Uhuru's working relationship with Raila has reportedly caused jitters amongst Ruto's allies with pundits predicting a major fallout between Uhuru and Ruto.
