Kibera MP Ken Okoth has been battling cancer for while. He revealed back in 2018 that he had been diagnosed with the killer disease.
Okoth is currently receiving treatment in Europe. On Thursday, he paid a courtesy call to Prof Judy Wakhungu, Kenyan Ambassador to France, Portugal, Monaco and Serbia.
"Courtesy call from Hon. Ken Okoth (Kibra). He updated us on many issues including his impressive education projects & his plans for increasing them to reach many students. He is also keen to use Sports Diplomacy to expand his students’ horizons," said Wakhungu.
The two took pictures together and later posted them on social media. It is no doubt that Okoth's health condition is deteriorating.
Okoth who many refer to as a hardworking and honest leader didn't hide the fact that he was battling the disease. He took to social media after being diagnosed asking Kenyans to keep him in prayers.
His latest photos prompted Kenyans to send him warm messages.
