Nakuru pastor of Chosen Holy Church in Kiamania, Bahati, who has been expelled from his church after he allegedly had sex with some of his female members, now claims the women seduced him.
The preacher, David Kamau, was accused of sleeping with seven female members of his church.
One of the women reportedly delivered a baby while another one is around five months pregnant.
When the news broke, Nyumba Kumi leaders led by their chairman from Kiamaina ward, Benson Mureu and other preachers from the area, stormed the church premises, closed it down and removed a signpost at the gate of the church.
Talking to the Nairobian, the pastor claimed:
“I know the complainants and they have been members of my church. I am surprised that some of them are accusing me yet they are the ones who approached me. The Nyumba Kumi leaders did not give me a chance to defend myself and accused me of being a sex pest,” said the pastor.
Mureu said they held a meeting with Kamau, other preachers from the area and five complainants, but the accused pastor failed to defend himself and instead walked out.
“Pastor Kamau failed to defend himself against the allegations. He couldn’t face the women and deny the allegations against him. His reaction was very telling and we had to take action against him,” said Mureu.
