P-unit members have lamented harassment by police after their young dancers were arrested.
In a long Instagram post on Wednesday, Gabu, one of the P-Unit members posted a video showing their dancers in police custody.
In the video, P-Unit members can be seen struggling with a police officer who seemingly refused to let them in.
"So a few weeks ago we were shooting our new music video with my brothers @punitwagenge and the lovely@yvonnedarcq . We had these young dancers who had be given permission by the parents and were on school leave. These were young boys with dreams and we gave them a platform for them to be seen by the world. Little did we know how the day would end."
"In the middle of the shoot, these kids were arrested and were detained for over 12 hours. Total injustice anyway after getting the parents and clearing the air they were released. But this is the kind of harassment artists go through everyday. As we try to make an honest living and create opportunities for the next generation police still arrest us. Kids can be actors, dancers, artists or anything they want don't kill there dreams with such stunts," said Gabu
According to P-Unit, everyone should be allowed to pursue their talent regardless of their age.
