A day after attending the launch of Kisumu Governor Anyang' Nyong'o's new book, Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader Raila Odinga has returned the favour.
Consequently, the former Prime Minister on Wednesday hosted the county boss at his private offices in Capitol Hill, Nairobi county.
Mr Nyong'o was flanged by other officials under his leadership, in a meeting where matters devolution formed bulk of the talks.
In a Facebook post, Raila said the meeting revolved around how to boost the union between different arms of county governments for the benefit of devolved units.
"Hosted a delegation from Kisumu led by Prof Anyang' Nyong'o at Capital Square for a discussion on devolution with a particular emphasis on synergy between the different arms of county governments," he wrote.
The launch of the book dubbed "Presidential or Parliamentary Democracy in Kenya?" was held at the University of Nairobi (UoN) on Tuesday.
The launch came at a unique time when the nation is torn between embracing the current presidential system and reverting to the abolished parliamentary one.
Some politicians have backed Raila's referendum push on hopes that apart from expanding the government, it will also make it possible to pick ministers from the Parliament.
