Renowned television talk show host Tony Gachoka has hit out at lawyer Nelson Havi for weighing in on the grisly murder of business tycoon Tob Cohen.
In a tweet on Saturday, Gachoka appeared to take offence in Havi's defence of former Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) Philip Murgor.
"Let’s be fair to Philip Murgor for several reasons: 1) it is not him on trial but his client; 2) his client is presumed innocent until proven guilty no matter the apparent vehemence of evidence against her; and 3) Murgor declined the appointment by DPP as Private Prosecutor. ^DoS," Havi's tweet read.
Gachoka told the renowned legal analyst that he did not have to weigh in on everything, saying that he was deeply shocked by the alleged murder of Tob Cohen.
"@NelsonHavi my advise:- you don’t have to comment about everything... this is a murder most foul the public is in shock as I am. TG @DonaldBKipkorir @ahmednasirlaw, " the post on Twitter read.
The discovery of Tob Cohen's at his Kitusuru mansion on Friday has left the Kenyan public reeling in shock.
He had been missing for 40 days.
Sarah Wairimu, the Dutch's wife who is the prime suspect in the murder case, is in police custody as investigations continue apace.
Directorate of Investigations (DCI) boss George Kinoti is leading the investigations.
