In a tweet on Sunday, Etale said that it is clear that the Tangatanga team has no agenda.

He argued that the leaders in the camp want to disrupt the peace the nation has enjoyed since President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Amolo Odinga accepted to work together in the famous handshake.

“Verily verily, we now know. Tangatanga wants to hold Kenyans at ransom. Kenyans know that. They ain’t fools anymore. Your support for the BBI was built on quick sand. Tangatanga has no agenda on UNITY, FREE & FAIR ELECTIONS. They only have one all round agenda, STEALING,” Etale tweeted.

He was responding to Senate Majority leader Kipchuma Murkomen who said they had realized that the BBI was targeting Ruto.

Murkomen lamented that calls by Raila for Ruto to step aside to pave way for graft probe were uncalled for.

“Our suspicions have been emphatically confirmed. BBI was about “Ruto Must Go”. They got very disappointed that nobody opposed the BBI report. Now Tinga has told us BBI to him is a Breaking Bridges Initiative. Absurdity,” the Elgeyo Marawet Senator said on Saturday in a tweet.
