Harmonize has been for years celebrated because of Bongo Flava.

According to Wikipedia, Bongo Flava is a nickname for Tanzanian hip hop music, as a derivative of American hip hop, with additional influences from reggae, R&B, afrobeat, dancehall, and traditional Tanzanian styles such as taarab and dansi, a combination that forms a unique style of music.

Harmonize's intention is to give his music an East African look and not just Tanzanian look.

The singer argues that Afro East style of music comes with Swahili vibes.

"As long as your music kuna Kiswahili ndani yake (if the song has Swahili lyrics in it) we can just say Afro East, because African music inatambuliwa kama (known as) Afro Beats, sisi tukuita (if we call our music) Afro East makes more sense," said Harmonize in a teaser he shared on Thursday.

Harmonize is yet to release any single song under his new record label dubbed Konde Gang. The 'Kwangwaru' hitmaker ditched Diamond Platnumz's Wasafi Classic Baby Record label a few months back.

He then formed his team made up of other artistes and has announced his new song is on the way, with clear intentions of ditching Bongo Flava.

From the teaser video he shared, his new song will be featuring Nigeria's Burna Boy.
