Mathew Aol who is now in his final year of study at Kenyatta University has drawn the attention of many after tirelessly seating for KCPE exams 9 times. He acquired marks that could enable him join Maranda high school twice and once in Kapsabet high school.
He denoted that his fellow friends finished university education and graduated living him in the same place, but he was determined and hoped that one day he would succeed.
He was still in class 8 when his sibling was born turning 14 years before he could get money to finance his secondary school education. For a period of four years, he did not stop knocking doors of politicians for financial help. He could be expelled from school due to lack of fees. 2020 marks a year that Aol now 36 will be finishing his undergraduate degree.
“All the time, I knew that if God provides food for all other living creatures, why not me in person. He created human beings in his own image?” He denoted this during an interview.
At the moment, he is concerned about life after graduation, whether he will be able to get employment or rot at home like other jobless graduates. Aol who is number 9 in a family of 13 comes from Nyakach, Kisumu County.
