Speaking to members of the press on Wednesday, the tough-talking cabinet secretary named Kisii, Homa Bay, Rongo and Isebania.

"Finally I want to warn those principals and the epicentres of this year's cheating seems to be starting in Rongo, a bit of it in Kisii going right down to Isebania and to Homa Bay. And we are listening to what they are saying so I am telling those principals to stop their rubbish before we come for them, " the Education CS said

CS Magoha pinned the flourishing of exam cheating on the gullibility of parents.

The CS has been keen on ridding the education sector of the cheating menace that has marred successive national examinations.

In a bid to remove the incentive for engaging in exam cheating, the Ministry of Education is in the process of rolling out the Competence-Based Curriculum (CBC) that will put more emphasis on the skills of students.

CBC will fundamentally alter the country's education system that has for long been exam-oriented.
