"It’s always a pleasure to interact with you. Your words of longevity and wisdom are worth living. May the Almighty God bless you in abundance. #KorogaFestival #AskKirubi #AskJoho," Joho tweeted.

Kirubi thanked Governor Joho for joining him in celebrating Kenyan art and food. The two enjoy a great relationship and have been seen together in several functions.

"My friend @HassanAliJoho, thank you for joining us today at the 27th edition of @KorogaFestival," Kirubi said.

According to The Koroga Festival website, the event is a celebration of African music, food, art and fashion brought to you in the form of a concert and open boutique market.

It is a great reflection of Kenya’s brilliant and diverse local talent, whilst also attracting leading artists from all over the world through music, fashion, food and arts.

Some of the notable names that performed at the event included Cote d’Ivoire's Alpha Blondy who expressed his admiration for Nairobi.

“I am excited to be performing in Nairobi after a long break; it feels good to be back to this beautiful country in the motherland Africa,” the musician was quoted by CGTN Africa.
