Popular Ugandan business lady Zari Hassan has finally revealed when she will be getting married to her South African lover.
Zari revealed the much-awaited date during an Instagram live video in which she was conversing with controversial Kenyan singer Akothee. Interestingly, the mother of five will walk down the aisle on Nelson Mandela day which is on July 18.
“So I’m officially gonna get married on Nelson Mandela day which is gonna be a beautiful thing and I am really hoping one day Africa is gonna have five presidents that are like Nelson Mandela,” Zari Hassan stated in the video which was uploaded on Instagram by Urban News.
Zari Hassan is currently engaged to a South African tycoon cum politician. Though the two have kept their relationship private, Zari has hinted on who the guy is and what he does for a living.
She was initially married to the late Ugandan millionaire Ivan Ssemwanga but they divorced on grounds of domestic violence after getting their three kids. She then moved on with Tanzanian bongo singer Diamond Platnumz with whom they have two children but divorced amid cheating allegations. It is after her relationship with Diamond that she got engaged to the South African businessman.
Zari Hassan is currently in Kenya where she is planning to host a women's conference alongside Akothee.
