South Mugirango Member of Parliament Sylvanus Osoro has come out in public saying he does not know deregistration plans by his Kenya National Congress Party.
On his Facebook post on Sunday evening, The Ruto die-hard MP said he is not aware of such and he is focused on serving the electorate who put him in office.
"Msiniulize yaliyo magazetini, niulize yaliyo GROUND. Gazeti ni za kufunga nyama. Hayo ya deregistration hatuyajui. Sisi tuko na wadosi ground. May God heal the sick in Jesus' name," posted Osoro.
On Sunday the Kenya National Congress Party released a letter dated 30th August 2019 to the media which was addressed to registrar of Parties demanding Osoro's name be removed from the party register.
"We hereby instruct your office to remove from the KNC Party register the name of Hon. Sylvanus Onyiego Osoro as per the party's National executive council recommendations," reads part of the letter signed by the party's secretary-general James Ogembo Masese.
The party through its executive council accused the vocal MP of failing to remit his subscription as per the party rules and regulations.
He was further accused of promoting another party's interests forgetting his own party which put him in office in the 2017 general election.
