Speaking in Mtito Andei, Makueni County, Magoha stated that the 20 cases of pregnant candidates reported this year countrywide compared to the many reported last year is encouraging.

Magoha linked the drop in the cases to good parenting urging them to spare time and bond with their kids instead of focusing on giving them material help.

"I'm actually shocked that the only one case that has been reported in Taita Taveta county and bone from Makueni. We are talking about 20 cases nationwide. This is a huge reduction from last year," said Magoha.

"It's good to give credit to our parents to continue to parent their children. Taking care of your children doesn't mean giving money to them. The best thing you can give your child is your time because your time is part of your life," he added.

Magoha spoke after overseeing the exams at Mtito Andei and Muthungue Primary Schools in Makueni.

He reiterated that the government ïs committed to ensuring the exams are completed without problems.
