Northern Wanderers continued with their dismal performance, after losing 2-0 at home to Modern Coast Rangers in their latest National Super League match on Friday at the Camp Toyoyo Grounds. The defeat is their eighth consecutive loss this season.
The two teams played a very entertaining first half with both teams failing to maximize on their chances.
After the break, the hosts were more impressive and created a couple of good chances but it was the visitors who took the lead after a Francis Ochola-goal in the 68th minute.
With only ten minutes left, Ochola scored his second goal of the match to secure the full three points for the visitors.
The defeat means the Wanderers are rooted to the bottom of the table without a point from eight games and have conceded 30 goals in total, an average of three goals per game.
The Wanderers will travel away to St Joseph's Youth on Wednesday, with the team knowing only a win will get their faltering season back on track.
