Mudavadi believes his rivals were focused on individual goals.

According to the former VP, unlike his rivals, he was determined to address issues that are affecting the citizens.

He further pointed out that President Uhuru Kenyatta had a narrow window of delivering the promises he made to the electorates.

“If at all I am being talked about a little more, it is because I believe I am the one addressing the issues that affect the common man more than anyone else, most of the others are dwelling on power structure arrangements,” Mudavadi stated during an interview with Citizen TV.

He was responding to claims that the handshake between President Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga had left him as a potential 'compromised candidate' in the 2022 presidential election.

Mudavadi further told Citizen TV that he has been consistent in resolving issues affecting the economy of the country.

He was however quick to add that it is only the voters who know who they want to elect as their leader.

Mudavadi has already declared his interest in vying for the country's top seat in 2022 polls.
