Police in Kiambu has launched a manhunt for a 60-year-old man suspected of sodomizing eight boys in Karuri area.
The suspect identified as Francis Kang'ethe alias 'Wagachie' allegedly lured the grade two boys to his house on different days and sodomized them.
The man has gone into hiding after learning his deeds were catching up with him.
The incident was confirmed by Kiambaa police boss Ngare Riko who told journalists that investigations into the incident have begun and the police won't relent until the suspect is arrested and charged for his crimes.
He said that the law will not be lenient to anyone found culpable of defilement or sodomy.
At Karuri level four hospital doctors confirmed that indeed the boys were sodomized.
Worried parents of the eight pupils from Karuri primary school were coming into terms that their kids had fallen prey to a paedophile.
According to the kids, the suspect lured them to his house, gave them goodies then did the unimaginable.
The parents called for speedy investigations into the incident citing sluggishness in arresting the culprit.
This incident comes just a day after a middle-aged man was arrested in Githunguri for defiling three girls aged 10.
