All is set for 2019 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education(KCPE) and Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) in Uasin Gishu County.
According to Uasin Gishu County Commissioner Abdirisack Jaldesa, they are well prepared to administer the examinations.
KCPE will start on October 29, while KCSE is set for November 4.
“I want to confirm that all set for KCPE and KCSE exams. All materials are ready, and I am calling on all stakeholders to give us the necessary support in ensuring that they are not tampered with,” said the Uasin Gishu County Commissioner.
Jaldesa who spoke during the Mashujaa Day celebrations at 64 Stadium in Eldoret town warned those planning to engage in exam malpractice citing the law will catch up with them.
“I want to give a stern warning to those officers and teachers planning to collude with students to cheat in exams that their days are numbered and they will be arrested and charged. Our aim is to ensure that candidates get the grades they deserve,” added Jaldesa.
He called on parents not to exert pressure on their children to attain certain grades while writing their exams.
