Detectives have turned to vomit as they seek to establish the actual cause of death of city lawyer and renowned politician Karanja Kabage.

Kabage, a former Nakuru senatorial aspirant, was involved in an accident along the Southern bypass on Friday night, and later died after being rushed to the hospital.

Police have said that they are suspecting that he might have been hit by a sudden heart attack and have turned to vomit found in the car in a bid to solve the puzzle.

This is detectives insist that the impact of the accident couldn't have cause her death, saying that the vehicle slowed down, appeared to be making a u-turn before hitting the pavement.

“But let us wait for the postmortem examination to tell us more on the possible cause of the incident,” an officer involved in the probe told the Standard.

Police are also looking forward to interrogate his driver and the people he was wiht last and as well establish the place he visited last as part of the probe.

This is even after it has been established that he spend Friday as at a Mt Kenya High Level Uongozi Forum where he was a panelist. The forum was held at Safari Park Hotel.

Police say that he was found talking after the accident before he was rushed to hospital by good Samaritans, but attempts by medics to resuscitate him proved futile and was later pronounced dead.

He was also a successful businessman and a notable member of the society.
