Celebrated radio and TV personality, Jahmby Koikai popularly known as fayah mamma hosted her first concert on Tuesday after five years of being away.
Koikai had taken a break from the media and entertainment scene to battle with endometriosis.
She hosted her first reggae concert at a Nairobi club alongside Selector Technix and DJ Double Trouble.
"I had a beautiful night. I rocked the night was on the mic for more than two hours @vineyardkiamburd with my two bredrins @selectortechnix @djdoubletrouble254. I met so many people who have been influenced and inspired by my journey. Thank you and God keep guiding you," she wrote on her Instagram page.
She also thanked her fans who had offered her critical support during the tough journey admitting that she was happy after getting back to what she does best after five years.
"To my family, thank you for supporting me. Thank you for being here. I haven't been on radio, tv and concerts for 5 years now but I'm glad I made the impact that y'all remember. I have so much in store for y'all," Koikai added.
Many of Koikai's fans came together to help her fundraise for the medical funds required for her endometriosis treatment abroad.
Koikai is also a renowned reggae MC in the entertainment scene. She once worked as a co-host of the popular NTV show, The Trend.
