The Council of Governors Chairman Wycliffe Oparanya has said that the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) team has not given the way forward if the report is rejected.
Speaking on Wednesday during the BBI launch at Bomas, Oparanya said that the team should have told Kenyans the next plan in the event that the report is not accepted at the end of the day.
He also said that the report has not fully highlighted the issue of devolution after it was made public
He, however, said that he is confident that the issues that needed to be addressed have been pointed out in the content of the report.“If we have different opinions, where do we go?” he posed "Tukiwa na maoni tofauti tutapeleka wapi?," he said.
The county boss lauded President Uhuru Kenyatta and Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Raila Amolo Odinga for agreeing to work together. He said that the handshake has changed things in different ways. The second time governor further said that the two leaders deserve credit for their move.
"The unveiling of this report to the public is a manifestation of the resourcefulness of our two leaders. It is only through dialogue that democracy is guaranteed and people's will demonstrated," he said.
