Mombasa County Governor Ali Hassan Joho has congratulated Nadia Ahmed Abdalla on her appointment as CAS for ICT, Innovation and Youth.
This comes after President Uhuru Kenyatta reshuffled the cabinet making various changes.
Taking to Twitter, Joho praised Nadia who was serving in Mombasa County and urged her to serve the nation as a whole with the same spirit.
''Congratulations Nadia Ahmed Abdalla on your appointment as CAS for ICT, Innovation & Youth. As a county we are proud of you. It is our hope that you will use the same intellect, zeal and wisdom that you served the people of @MombasaCountyKe with to serve the nation ~ @NadNad_KE,'' said Joho.
Nadia was among various people who were appointed by President Uhuru Kenyatta on Tuesday.
During the cabinet reshuffle, the head of state shocked many when he dropped Mwangi Kiunjuri as Agriculture Cabinet Secretary.
In his place, Uhuru appointed Peter Munya as the new Agriculture CS.
Mwangi Kiunjuri sacking has been associated with his negative talks on the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI).
According to Nyeri Town MP Ngunjiri Wambugu, Kiunjuri was also associated with talks about 2022 politics, which President Uhuru Kenyatta warned leaders not to talk about but rather concentrate on development.
