Uasin Gishu Governor Jackson Mandago now says the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) report is meant for politicians to achieve their goals.
He says most of the contents in the BBI report does not benefit common mwanachi but politicians.
“Let me not cheat you Kenyans 90 percent of the contents of the BBI report covers the interest of politicians like Mandago while the rest covers that of Kenyans,” he said.
Mandago who spoke to the press in Eldoret town on Tuesday urged Kenyans to continue with their normal business and leave BBI to politicians.
He said Kenyans will "develop ulcers and lack sleep" for no reason yet what is being proposed in the report is not for them but politicians.
“Have you heard any governor serving his second term talking about BBI because all of them are praying for the constitution to be changed for them to be re-elected?" he posed.
He called on the government to distribute the BB report copies to the grassroots since at the moment, there is no single copy in the county for residents.
Mandago wondered how the government wants Kenyans to give their input to the document yet there are no copies for them.
He further called on Kenyans to maintain peace noting BBI will come and pass.
