Soy MP Caleb Kositany has vowed to continue donating funds to churches despite criticism from several quarters.
Speaking at Kamukunji PCEA on Sunday, the Soy legislator said nothing will stop him from giving money to churches since he was brought up knowing the benefits of giving.
“We are doing what our parents taught us that we must build the house of the lord, help the less fortunate and share what we have with those who don’t have in the society and I cannot stop,” said the first-term MP.
He noted that they can account for every cent they donate to churches and that they don’t do money laundering in churches.
"There is no way you can do money laundering in church. Whatever we give in the church is not dirty money and we will not use churches as our campaign podium for 2022 politics,” added Kositany noting that whatever they are doing is service to God which is an act of humanity.
He further hit out at some opposition politicians saying they should keep off matters religion because they never attend church services.
Kositany maintained that some vocal opposition MPs opposed to money being donated in churches only attend funerals and not church services.
