The businessman wants Joho charged alongside Changamwe MCA Bernard Ochieng Ogutu, Chief Officer for Lands, Physical Planning and Housing Jaffar Mosheh over their failure to appear before the court after the revocation of the title deed of a piece of land he claims belongs to him.

Through his lawyer Willis Oluga, Doshi has said that the governor has not responded to his query even after he resolved to seek legal redress over the matter.

“We pray the honourable court to summon Joho, Mosheh and Ochieng and commit them to six months in jail for contempt of court orders of March 6, 2019, and amended on April 9 2019,” said Oluga.

While appearing before Justice Silus Munyau, Oluga said that Joho, also ODM Deputy Leader, abused his powers after he ordered for the revocation of the license.

He maintained that Joho oversaw the demolition of a gate at the property, which he termed as illegal.

He further told the court that the county government had hired around 100 goons to demolish the gate yet the property had been acquired through a legal means.
