A section of men from Nyamira County now want Senator Millicent Omanga to change her dressing code because it's 'tempting and inappropriate'.
One the eve of New Year, Omanga showed up in the podium dressed in a short dark dress and even had some little dancing moves with Deputy Governor Joash Maangi.
But the dressing code has left many men questioning the intent and purpose even as she fought back the battle.
"The style was too tempting and is meant for adolescents. She should have done better. A leader of that caliber shouldn't go around tempting us," John Ondimu argued.
Amos Mbunde added on Nyamira WhatsApp group: "The dress was very small. We are human beings and she should bear that in mind. That was unnecessary."
But Mrs Omanga insists that her dressing code wasn't immoral adding that only her critics wants it to sound as such.
She added that the dress was appropriate given that it did not expose her body contrary to what netizens claim.
"You can have the photo and try to spot the mistake. There is none. Only some people want to sustain the debate otherwise there was nothing wrong with it."
