The youthful lawmaker was on Sunday involved in a clash with his nominated counterpart Maina Kamanda at a church in Kiharu, over who was to take charge of the function.

But Miguna is now questioning why it is only Nyoro who the police are targeting when the likes of Nyeri Town MP Ngunjiri Wambugu roams free after repeatedly storming such events.

He termed the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) a bias institution being used by some top state officials from Mt Kenya region to practice selective justice.

"The @DCI_Kenya is a Mafia Gang. When Nyeri Town MP Ngunjiri Wambugu accosts and disrupts CS Kiunjuri and other MPs' functions, Despot Uhuru Kenyatta does not order his goons in uniform to arrest him. But Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro is arrested for interrupting Maina Kamanda," Miguna tweeted on Sunday.

A near fistfight emerged after Nyoro disrupted the Harambee function, as opposed to attempts by Kamanda to introduce a host of visiting politicians from Nairobi.

However, the event proceeded as planned after the police intervened, bringing out the rivalry between the Kieleweke and Tangatanga groupings which the two belong to.
