Uasin Gishu Governor Jackson Mandago made an impromptu visit to various project sites on Monday catching the contractors by surprise.
He made the impromptu visit in Soy and Moiben accompanied by Trade CeC Dŕ Emily Kogos.
He inspected the progress of the construction of Kuinet Market in Soy Sub-County.
"My Government as a representative of the people of Uasin Gishu wants nothing but the best quality work," he wrote on Facebook after the visit.
Mandago added that he is keen on ensuring farmers are empowered and his key agenda is streamlining the marketing of agricultural goods and mechanization of agriculture.
The is also setting up an ultra-modern workshop and training centre to ensure agriculture in Uasin Gishu is bolstered.
Mandago also inspected the construction progress of non-motorised pedestrian walkways which will be extended to the University of Eldoret.
