World marathon record holder Eliud Kipchoge has met renowned venture capitalist Chris Kirubi.
The two heavyweights met on Tuesday at Kirubi's house.
Eliud Kipchoge revealed that he had visited Kirubi in a tweet on Tuesday evening.
In the tweet, the greatest marathoner of all time revealed the agenda of the meeting but only in broad terms, saying that he had a wonderful time with the business tycoon and that the two bounced ideas off each other on business and sports.
The elite athlete also took time to wish Chris Kirubi, who has been battling illness, good health going forward.
"Today I visited with the industrialist and entrepreneur Mr. Chris Kirubi. I had a great time with him and was able to share some ideas on sport and business. Together we read from the same script as he is a strong believer of #NoHumanIsLimited. I wish him a happy and healthy 2020, " Eliud Kipchoge's tweet read.
The meeting comes just weeks after the world marathon record holder, against all odds, managed to run a sub 2 hour race in Vienna, the capital city of Austria.
He became the first human being to do so even though the record was not recognised as an official world record as it was pulled off in controlled conditions.
